JOY OF THE GAME HOSTS 2014 SPRING TRYOUTS FOR RISING STARS TRAVEL BASKETBALL TEAM

DEERFIELD, IL (FEBRUARY 23-MARCH 12, 2014) - Joy of the Game is hosting 2014 Spring tryouts for the popular Rising Stars Travel Basketball program. Boys and girls at every level, 2nd grade through 11th grade, will once again have the opportunity to join one of the most fun and competitive travel basketball programs based on the North Shore.

The JG Rising Stars travel teams are coached by a team of highly trained staff experts at Joy of the Game. The newly remodeled state-of-the-art courts at JG Sports Center give the teams a home-court advantage, and the teams play in at least six quality tournaments throughout the season. Additionally, Joy of the Game's partnership with the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) also provides great visibility for recruitment, and many players go on to play for Division I, II, III & NAIA college basketball teams.

"We are really excited for the 2014 season of JG Rising Stars," says Brian Davis, Director of Basketball Operations of Joy of the Game, who has been with Joy of the Game since 1994. "It's fun seeing new talent come in year after year, and watching the players grow and make progress."
