Glenview-based SurePayroll, a provider of online payroll services to small business nationwide, received six internationally recognized Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The Stevie Awards organize several of the world's leading business awards shows annually, including the International Business Awards. More than 1,500 entries from organizations of all sizes in virtually every industry were submitted to this year's competition. More than 100 members of seven specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.

SurePayroll was named a winner in every category entered by the company this year.

• Customer Contact Center of the Year (Under 100 seats) -- Silver Winner

• Jamal Ayyad, Customer Service Manager of the Year -- Bronze Winner

• National Telesales Team of the Year -- Bronze Winner

• Sales Training or Coaching -- Bronze Winner

• Roger Zhang, Sales Representative of the Year -- Gold Winner

• Jason Copeland, National Sales Executive of the Year -- Bronze Winner

"Being recognized among incredibly successful businesses from around the world is really a tremendous honor and a testament to the commitment and dedication of our customer service and sales teams to serve our customers," said SurePayroll President and CEO Michael Alter. "SurePayroll reps put our customers first. They work diligently every day to make online payroll easy, alleviating the inherent hassles of payroll and allowing small business owners to focus on growing their business."

Nicknamed for the Greek word "crowned," the Stevie Awards are conferred in five programs: the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. A sixth program, the German Stevie Awards, will debut later this year. Honoring organizations of all types and sizes and the people behind them, the Stevies recognize outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide. Learn more about The Stevie Awards at
