Are there any music lovers or basketball fans at your house? Consider taking them on an outing to Chicago "Motown the Musical" or to a Chicago Bulls game, both offered by McHenry County College's Trips and Tours program.

"Motown the Musical" comes to Chicago to launch its national tour. The musical features the real story of the one-of-a-kind sound that hit the airwaves in 1959 and changed our culture forever. This exhilarating show charts Motown founder Berry Gordy's incredible journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and so many more. The musical features all the classics people love and tells the story behind the hits as Diana, Smokey, Berry and the whole Motown family fight against the odds to create the soundtrack that changed America. Lunch is on your own before the 2 p.m. matinee. This trip takes place 9:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 30. Cost is $139. Register using trip ID NST S46 004.

Da Bulls: Whoop it up with the Chicago Bulls and MCC. Join MCC's Trips and Tours for an exciting night of basketball as the Chicago Bulls take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center.

Bulls fans can leave the driving and parking hassles behind as they travel to the game on a deluxe motor coach to basketball action at its best. This trip takes place 2:45 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday, April 4. Meet in the MCC Commons. Cost is $129. To register, use trip ID NST S44 004.
