Cupcakes and Cupid help celebrate Valentine's Day in Round Lake

Cupid was certainly in the house Friday to celebrate Valentine's Day at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center in Round Lake.

A Cupids' Cupcakes program was held for children ages 1 to 6 at the Round Lake Area Park District's Children's Neighborhood Museum.

There were plenty of activities for kids, including decorating cupcakes, making cards and painting their handprints on paper.

One day each month, the museum hosts a Fantasy Friday event with a different theme, such as this month's Valentine's Day celebration. Visit www.rlapd.org for more.
