Submitted by PM&L Theatre

William Shakespeare's "As You Like It," adapted by director Chuck Lindas, will run for three weekends at PM&L Theatre. Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 p.m. Sundays, through Feb. 12.

Lindas' recent PM&L directing credits include "Assassins" and "The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee."

"As You Like It" follows its heroine, Rosalind (Rebecca Zellar of Antioch), as she flees persecution in her uncle's court to find safety and, eventually, love. She and her cousin, Celia (Denise Lanier of Hainesville), encounter many memorable characters in the Forest of Arden, notably the melancholy Jaques (Jerod Howard of Bristol Wisconsin), who speaks many of Shakespeare's most famous speeches.

Tickets are available online at www.pmltheatre.com and are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and students. To reserve tickets directly through PM&L's box office, call (847) 395-3055. The box office is open from 6-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays and 1½ hours before curtain on show dates.

PM&L Theatre is at 877 N. Main St., Antioch.

PM&L is a nonprofit, community-based volunteer organization located in historical downtown Antioch. For tickets, show announcements, news, and more information about PM&L's season, visit www.pmltheatre.com or find them on Facebook and Twitter.
