Wauconda Unit District 118 kindergarten preregistration will take place at three elementary schools on Tuesday, March 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Students must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2014, and live within the boundaries of District 118 to be eligible to preregister for kindergarten. Parents will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork to enroll their child and to bring the following documents: two pieces of proof of residency and your child's state-issued birth certificate. Beginning Feb. 24, registration packets may be picked-up in advance at the school offices or downloaded from the district website: www.d118.org.
