Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is that?I would like to be the first candidate to be elected to the board that states 'I will only run for two terms' I believe term limits are necessary in reducing government waste and changing the business as usual mentality in government. As a business owner I'm constantly looking for was to reduce costs. I'm running for Will County Board to bring a new perspective to the Board. As a Business Owner I am uniquely qualified for this position. I have a proven ability to manage several businesses with utmost respect for employees, customers and the business community. I feel that term limits are and will be best for good government. I will only run for two terms if elected to the Will County Board and I will NOT register for a Pension.What differentiates you most from your opponents in the race?I feel owning a business enhances my qualifications to participate on the County Board. I know what it takes to run a business and manage all aspects on a daily basis. I will work with current board members to cut costs and run projects effectively.As a business owner I know what it takes to create jobs and to bring good paying jobs to Will County. I believe we can create more jobs by offering incentives to large manufacturers.As a 25 year resident to Will County I remember when Rt 59 was a 2 lane road. Infrastructure is key to all successful vibrant and forward thinking government.Are there any county issues unique to Naperville that you plan to address?I believe a comprehensive road plan is essential and bringing in good paying jobs. Having two children in college I would like them to leave school and be able to find good paying jobs in Will County.If you are an incumbent, describe your main contributions. If you are not an incumbent, tell us what contributions you would make.n/aFinally, is there anything we haven't asked about that you feel we should know?I believe, service to community is important. If elected I will NOT sign up for a pension. I believe in limited government and living within our means. I believe that taxes are way to high and are out pacing residents ability to pay them. I believe essential services are being cut to pay for policies enacted 25 or more years ago and those policies may not make sense today. As a business owner I have adapted to the changing market place I believe government needs to do the same.
