Questions & Answers

Why are you running for this office? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is that?

I am running to be a judge because I believe that the quality of judges and a qualified judiciary is important. As a judge, I will be impartial and rule on the evidence and the law. I believe strongly in the rule of law and that everyone is equal under the law. I also know that I am extremely fair and impartial and have a history of hard work.

I have been an attorney since 1996 with a focus on trial work and defense litigation. I have extensive jury trials to verdict, as well as Appellate and binding Arbitration work. I have been found Well Qualified by the Chicago Council of Lawyers, and found Qualified by the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Hellenic Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association, Puerto Rican Bar Association, Cook County Bar Association and Asian American Bar Association.

I have a reputation for hard work and honesty. I have been active in the legal community, my church and as girls youth basketball, soccer and softball coach for my three daughters sports teams. I am also part of a very diverse family, my wife is Asian, my three daughters are bi-racial and my sister-in-law is African American. All of this has provided me with a unique and broad perspective that I will bring to the bench. My integrity will never be compromised as noted by the independent Chicago Council of Lawyers.

What differentiates you most from your opponents in the race?

I have been found well qualified by the independent Chicago Council of Lawyers. I also come from a diverse family as noted above that gives me a unique perspective to bring to the bench.

Finally, is there anything we haven't asked about that you feel we should know?

If I am lucky enough to be elected Judge, I promise to be hard working, independent and fair. Everyone before me will have a fair and considered ruling.
