Why are you running for this office? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is that?
I am running for Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County because I am committed to serve the public and I believe that I have the professional and personal experiences necessary to be a judge. I am seeking a judicial position because I want to bring my experiences, legal training and knowledge to the judiciary.
What differentiates you most from your opponents in the race?
With over 24 years of practicing law, I have dedicated the majority of my career to public service. I have a broad legal background and an extensive knowledge base in many areas of the law. I represent the public and work well with all types of individuals. I have worked as a Prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorneys Office and represented clients in private practice. I am a well-rounded attorney capable of handling a board range of legal matters. The judiciary should represent the community that it serves. As a bilingual Latina, I will bring diversity and sensitivity to the bench to best serve the citizens of Cook County.
