Quinn deserves the criticism, not Rauner

The primary is only a few weeks away. I've listened to all four candidates and have yet to understand what three of them stand for and how they plan to fix this broken state. Instead of pointing out Gov. Quinn's failings, they are pointing out what they don't like about Bruce Rauner, the only candidate who has stated his positions and offered solutions.

Why are they so afraid of him? Is it because they are such Springfield insiders they don't want anyone as governor who just may be able to fix the problems?

I've been a Republican volunteer for years and am so excited about Bruce Rauner's candidacy for governor; he's a businessman who has started and run a company, made his money the old-fashioned way by working for it, knows how to manage and lead and is not beholden to anyone, especially the government unions.

This stunt by candidate Dan Rutherford looks like a desperate one. He's accusing candidate Rauner simply because the employee who made the allegations against him is using a lawyer who was once hired to negotiate an office lease.

The three Republican candidates should stop beating up Rauner and focus their attention where it belongs, Gov. Quinn and the Democrats.
