Cook County GOP seeks election judges

Cook County Republican Party officials are looking for judges of election to work the polls during primary Election Day, March 18.

The party is hiring 3,000 judges for suburban Cook County and Chicago. Judges will serve from 5 a.m. to about 7:30 p.m. on Election Day and are paid $120, plus $50 for attending a required three-hour training class. Some will receive additional pay for increased responsibility and training.
