Gusto Packing recalls contaminated ham

The U.S. Agriculture Department announced that Gusto Packing of Montgomery is recalling 67,110 pounds of sliced ham products because of possible Listeria contamination.

The hams were distributed in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, and exported to Canada.

Products subject to recall are:

타 ”Centrella Signature, Hardwood Hickory Smoked, Spiral Sliced Ham with Natural Juices” with the case code “71292603304.”

타 ”AMISH VALLEY, Fully Cooked, Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced Ham” with the case code “71292645104.”

타 ”AMISH VALLEY, Fully Cooked, Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced Ham” with the case code “71292645104.”

타 “Ripple Creek Farms, Fully Cooked, Ready To Eat, Hickory Smoked, Spiral Sliced Ham” with the case code “71292603312.”

The contaminated ham can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms.
