Just a note to all state and federal politicians: There is an important bloc of voters that you all forget about -- veterans. We put on the uniform of this country to serve this country, and what do we get for it? Nothing!

I shouldn't say nothing, because the citizens of this country know what we do and make it a point to say thank you, those two words always are good to hear. But what are the politicians on both sides doing for us? Nothing!

When a veteran files for disability because of an injury incurred while in uniform, the games begin. After months or years of waiting, the Veterans Affairs denies the claim and the appeal process, begins. More games. What a joke that is.

Our lives are not some game. You politicians are either for us or by your silence against us. There is no middle ground! The time for quiet conversation has ended, direct action is needed. Put you political money and political reputations behind us.
