Dining events: Wickets' epic burger battle
To be good or not to be good?
A burger battle brews at Wickets Bar and Grill. Between Jan. 1 and Jan. 15, try the healthy resolution burger, a lean turkey burger with fresh sprouts, avocado served with a green salad, for $10; or the anti-resolution burger, 10-ounces slathered with cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and hot chili served with cheese fries, for $11.50. Vote on Wickets' Facebook page. The winning burger becomes a permanent menu item.
Wickets Bar and Grill at the Streets of Woodfield, 601 N. Martingale, Suite 100, Schaumburg. (847) 619-1400 or wicketsbarandgrill.com.

Prix fixe dinners include a choice of Maryland-style crabcakes, for $33; or the one-pound Alaskan golden king crab dinner, for $48. Both come with a cup of clam chowder, coleslaw, au gratin potatoes and a slice of key lime pie.
