Lake County economic forecast
The Lake County Chamber of Commerce hosts its seventh annual Economic Forecast Lake County Luncheon on Friday, Jan. 17, officials said in a news release. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the University Center of Lake County, 1200 University Drive, Grayslake. Organizers say it is an opportunity for local government and business leaders to examine and explore fiscal challenges and issues in 2014. William Strauss, senior economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, presents his forecast, providing an assessment of the U.S. and Midwest economy.
