Man shot on CTA platform

Chicago Police are investigating the shooting of a man at a Chicago Transit Authority Red Line station in the city’s Uptown neighborhood.

Police say that a 20-year-old man was on the platform of the station early Wednesday morning when someone approached him and fired a gun while shouting gang slogans. The man who was shot in the shoulder was taken to an area hospital. They did not have any details about his condition.

Police say no arrests have been made.
