Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein will host its first new car raffle as part of its annual Street Scenes fundraiser on Feb. 14 and 15. Starting now until Feb. 15, contestants can buy their chance to win a 2014 Chevy Sonic or 2014 Kia Soul, courtesy of Raymond Chevrolet, Liberty Kia and Carmel. Raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $125 and can be purchased online at or at the CCHS bookstore, at an upcoming winter athletic event or during Street Scenes. All monies raised will provide tuition assistance to CCHS students. Early buyers will be entered into a special drawing Dec. 26 for two $50 car wash gift cards. The winner of the car will be drawn at Street Scenes on Feb. 15 at midnight. Winner need not be present. Only 500 raffle tickets will be sold.
