Find a gun law criminals will obey

I’ve got some advice for Jerry Vigue. I fully understand your impatience regarding the implementation of what you call “reasonable gun laws.” However, I must disagree with you about your opinion that “owning a gun is a privilege.”

It’s a right. Not only that, it’s very clearly spelled out in black and white in our Constitution. This right was considered so important that an amendment to that Constitution was dedicated solely to it. I know you know this, so it’s curious that you should refer to gun ownership as a mere privilege.

Now for the advice. Please put on your thinking cap, study the law as best you can, and then come up with a law, any law, that you are absolutely, positively sure that criminals will obey, no matter what, always and forever. Let us know what it is, and then we’ll talk about modifying it into a “reasonable” gun law.
