A lottery on Monday decided ballot placement for a handful of Lake County candidates running in the March 2014 primary election. The lottery was needed because some candidates filed paperwork simultaneously last month. David Stolman will be listed first in the Republican primary for treasurer. Terri Voss will be listed first in the GOP primary for the county board's 10th District seat. Jason Patt will be listed first in the Democratic Party primary for sheriff. Stolman is running against Jeralyn "Jeri" Atleson. Patt is running against John T. Krempotic. Voss is running against Charles "Chuck" Bartels and Cornelius Connie Shanahan.
