Auditions for ‘Oliver’:

An audition call for youth actors in third through eighth grades for the classic musical, “Oliver,” will be Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Improv Playhouse Theater, 735 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville. Based on the Dickens novel, “Oliver” was one of Broadway’s most successful shows. The IP-Showstoppers production is directed by Zach D’Antonio. Rehearsals are Saturday, Jan. 10 through April, 6, on Fridays, 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 1 to 3 p.m. at the IP Theater. Performances are April 5 and 6. Actors will be assessed and placed in roles.
