Many tornadoes tore through Illinois on Nov. 17, including an EF-4 in Washington; EF-3s in Gifford and Brookport; and EF-2s in Pekin, Coal City, Dana, Manhattan/Frankfort, St. Elmo and Altamont.
There were millions of people in the path of this system, most were spared. For those of who were fortunate enough to avoid damage, it's time to help out the fellow Illinoisans who were not.
A supply drive is being organized and will deliver items this weekend.
