The dearth of sunshine and dry pavement couldn't keep Aurora resident Brian Wroblewski from his passion Saturday.

Wroblewski has been riding a bike for as long as he can remember. When asked what kind of cyclist he considers himself, he responded jokingly, "Not a very good one."

Wroblewski enjoys riding the local roads and bike paths in DuPage County, but on rainy days like Saturday, he will often do maintenance on his six bikes. He cleans chains, adjust brakes, and checks nuts and bolts for the correct torque. The process can take a couple of hours.

For Wroblewski, maintenance is not a chore; it's part of the ride.
