Don't let big news stories fade

What about Syria?

As a high school student, I am always checking the news to find out what's happening in the world. A majority of the news articles the last two weeks have been about the government shutdown. I have no problem with this because I think it is very big news. However, where is the news on Syria?

All that could be talked about a month ago was Syria and whether we might take military action. Ever since news broke on a resolution of Syria giving up their chemical weapons, I have not been able to find another story about it.

I know it might not be pertinent information right now, but I think people should know the updates with it. That is one of my problems with the media. They cover something daily for a week or two and then never mention it again.

There needs to be some sort of update on big stories that might not be the biggest story at this moment.
