Carlin is a World War II veteran and educator who worked 22 years in Chicago Public Schools and 25 years at Loyola University.
Dohner has been the Rushville town doctor since 1955 and still makes house calls and hospital and nursing home rounds. He often charges patients $5 for a visit.
The World War II veteran served as this year's Illinois State Fair parade grand marshal.
Ninety-one people have been inducted into the Senior Hall of Fame since it was created by the Illinois legislature in 1994.
