In Good Taste benefit for Hersey Band Program
An eclectic wine list, an expanded offering of raffle prizes, and live jazz music are among the highlights of the Saturday, Feb. 6 In Good Taste benefit for the John Hersey High School Band Program.
The 8th annual In Good Taste will take place 7-10 p.m. Feb. 6 at Rolling Green Country Club in Arlington Heights.
Early Bird tickets are now on sale for just $45 per person and can be purchased by credit card or PayPal at: www.herseyband.com/taste.html. The special Early Bird discount ends Jan. 15.
In Good Taste features samples of more than 50 global wines and beers, along with sumptuous hors d'oeuvres and sweets.
The first 100 guests will receive a free keepsake glass, and live jazz entertainment will be provided by Hersey Band alumni professional musicians.
A new Grand Raffle has been added to the event. The prizes include:
1st Prize: Night With a Chef: A 5-course dinner with wine for eight served in your home by Executive Chef/General Manager Joe Grana of Emmett's Brewing Company in Palatine. ($1,200 value)
2nd Prize: 4 Cubs Box Seats to the Father's Day, June 19th game at Wrigley Field against the Pittsburgh Pirates. ($400 value)
3rd Prize: A 1.5 liter Magnum of 2000 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot. ($200 value)
Grand Raffle tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and can also be purchased online or the night of the event. Winner need not be present to win.
There will be dozens of other raffle prizes, including a magnum of Seven Hills Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, prize packages, and a coin flip for an Apple Watch.
