Chicago man gets life plus 75 years for 3 murders

A Cook County judge has sentenced a Chicago man to life in prison plus 75 years for a triple murder in 2008.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office says 34-year-old Vennis McCall was sentenced on Wednesday. Prosecutors say he killed 46-year-old Allen McCullough, 46-year-old Danna McCullough and their son 19-year-old Alan McCullough III in April 2008.

Each was shot in the back of the head and covered with blankets in their home.

Prosecutors say the victims were previously McCall’s foster family. They say the family had taken him in again after he was released from state prison for an armed robbery and an escape case.
