Put country ahead of party
The inaction of our congressional elected representatives and senators to achieve a position of compromise is disgusting. As a citizen of this once-great country and voter, I find the display of brinkmanship to be the mentality of immaturity to the highest order.
When are these persons going to put their political party allegiances aside and do what is called “walk across the aisle” and talk and talk until they resolve their differences, even if the end result does not fit their own personal goals 100 percent — and do what is in the best interests of our country and our role of worldwide leadership.
Perhaps we need a voter referendum process to be adopted so that the people of the USA can instruct and dictate what are the needs/wants and desires of the voting public.
