Bella looking for a new home

Poor Bella, she was found roaming the streets and brought to The Buddy Foundation.

Upon notification to Arlington Heights Animal Control, her former owner was found and he said that she had gotten pregnant and had babies — he could find homes for the puppies, but not Bella.

Buddy took Bella and kept her in the puppy room because she could not tolerate the kennels. When she first got here, she cried and cried, and looked everywhere for her missing babies. After several weeks, she finally settled in, but to this day she still looks for her missing babies. Poor Bella.

Finally this brown-and-tan, 75-pound, 6-year-old, shepherd/lab mix is ready to find her forever home. One of our volunteers who could not adopt her, but so loved Bella, decided to “sponsor” her. That means her adoption fee is paid and her adopter only needs to pay the transfer fee of $30, which also includes a new name tag.

Please, if you have any room in your home and love in your heart give this sweet dog a chance to forget her past and start a great new future with you.
