Harlem Ambassadors to appear in North Chicago

The Exchange Club of North Chicago and Exchange Clubs across the United States have made a commitment to Child Abuse Prevention.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the North Chicago High School Gym, 1717 17th St., North Chicago, the Exchange Club of North Chicago will host their annual fundraiser event for this campaign. They are seeking contributions and donations from individuals and organizations throughout the community for this event. Contributions may be tax deductible.

The internationally acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors are visiting the community. They offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball featuring highflying slam-dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines. The Harlem Ambassadors are a team of talented male and female basketball players that are drug free, college-educated and committed to serving as positive role models for young people. The Harlem Ambassadors work with local not-for-profit and service organizations. For this event, they have partnered with the Exchange Club of North Chicago with proceeds from sales funding prevention of child abuse and other local programs and services.
