Chicago Fire scouting report

Chicago Fire at Columbus Crew, 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Crew Stadium

TV: Channel 50

Scouting the Fire: Now that the Fire (11-11-6, 39 points) is in a playoff spot, it has to try to stay there. A road victory would be a big boost. Mike Magee’s 10 goals lead the Fire, but he had 8 of those goals in his first 10 games with the club. Magee has just 2 goals in the Fire’s last 7 games (6 starts), but both game in the last three games.

Scouting the Columbus Crew:The Crew (10-14-5, 35 points) is one of the teams chasing the Fire, but its chances are dwindling. Brian Bliss has taken over for fired coach Robert Warzycha. Dominic Oduro, the former Fire player, leads the Crew with 10 goals.
