West Chicago Educational Foundation To Host Dec. 8 Holiday Event

Tickets are now on sale for the Community High School Educational Foundation’s holiday fun and fundraising event.

Planned for Sunday, Dec. 8 at Prairie Landing Golf Club, 2325 Longest Drive., West Chicago, the extravaganza begins with a 4:30 p.m. reception and includes dinner at 5p.m., a 6 p.m. dessert bar, musical performances by a CHS jazz quartet, string quartet, and madrigal singers, and a free holiday movie with popcorn.

Tickets are priced at $50 (or $25 for the dessert bar/entertainment portion only) and available by visiting the online web store at www.d94.org (click on the CHS Educational Foundation link), or contact Melissa Birch at 630-621-0128.

“A highlight of the event will be a special outrageous holiday sweater and tie contest,” says Patti Kozlowski, CHS Educational Foundation board member who co-chairs the event along with Melissa Birch. “Don your most outrageous holiday sweater and join us for an evening of fun, frolic, fantastic holiday musical performances, and a fabulous free movie classic. It is sure to be a wonderful time at Prairie Landing.”

Proceeds benefit the CHS Educational Foundation, a registered 501(c ) 3 organization working for the benefit of students attending Community High School in West Chicago.
