A variety of Mundelein agencies and groups will host the One World cultural festival on Sept. 21.

The festival will run from noon to 5 p.m. at the Metra station, 205 N. Archer Ave. Admission is free.

Most entertainment and activities are free to the public.

The Fremont Public Library, the Mundelein Park and Recreation District, Mundelein Community Connection, village hall and the Mundelein Human Relations Commission are behind the event.

Other participants include the Mundelein/Vernon Hills Rotary, the College of Lake County, Origami Artwear, the American Refugee Committee and the Korean Cultural Center.

Many cultures will be represented through crafts, kids' games, music, dance, food and drinks.

The McNulty Irish Dancers, Ho Etsu Japanese Taiko Drums, Lira Ensemble Polish Entertainers, and Ballet Folklórico Mexican Dancers are among the scheduled performers.

Local schools and dance groups will participate, too.

Taste of Paris, the Raging Kitchen Food Truck and Lauretta's Italian Bake Shop will supply food and drink for purchase. For more information, call (847) 949-3252.
