Second AIR-ONE landing for expo:

A second AIR-ONE helicopter landing has been added to the activities this weekend at the Ninth Annual Law Enforcement Exhibition at Westfield Hawthorn mall in Vernon Hills. Weather permitting, the additional landing will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the same location (lower level south Sears parking lot) as the first, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Sunday arrival will include AIR-ONE personnel being transported into the area on ropes. Afterward, the helicopter will remain on display for approximately 30 minutes. The exhibition features a variety of vehicles, exhibits and demonstrations from nearly two dozen law enforcement and related agencies.
