Bear down at Champps with new celebratory football specials. On Sundays, enjoy $2.50 drafts of Stella Artois, Goose Island Seasonal, Goose Island Green Line, 312, Michelob Ultra, Budweiser and Bud Light, as well as a Bloody Mary bar with shrimp, stuffed olives and other ingredients priced $7 to $9. On Thursdays, all 42 of Champps’ beers on tap range from $2.50 to $3.50.

Trademark’s industry night
Sunday and Monday are industry nights at Trademark Tavern in Lombard. That means 50 percent off the bar tab from 8 p.m. to midnight for those in the bar and restaurant business. Sunday drink specials are $10 Miller or Coors buckets of five. Monday drink specials are $2 Miller Lite and Sam Adams drafts. The happy hour food menu from 3 to 6 p.m. daily includes $2 sliders, $2 quesadillas and $6 flatbreads.

Bavarian Lodge’s Oktoberfest
It’s time for The Bavarian Lodge’s 27th annual Oktoberfest kickoff party and pig roast at noon Saturday, Sept. 21. Cask-conditioned firkins to be tapped are: Goose Island Oktoberfest, Revolution Oktoberfest, Metropolitian Diablo Dynamo, Solemn Oath Oktoberface and Lakefront Oktoberfest. Other seasonal specialties include the Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen, Ayinger Oktoberfest-Marzen, Metropolitan Afterburner Oktoberfest, Metropolitan Zwickel Flywheel and Southern Tier Pumking. Beer prices range from $5 to $7.
