Daily Herald staff report

Motorists traveling to Rosemont hotels, restaurants, or the Allstate Arena can look forward to traffic snarls starting Thursday when the Illinois Department of Transportation closes the Mannheim Road northbound exit off I-190, the spur running from I-90 to O'Hare International Airport.

Arena patrons traveling eastbound on I-90 should expect higher than usual traffic and allow extra time to get there for events, according to the village website. Alternate routes to the arena are posted on the village website, rosemont.com. Construction is scheduled to be completed around Nov. 22.
