Celebrity golf outing Monday in Long Grove

The Special Kids Network will host its 14th annual Celebrity Golf Tournament Monday, July 22, at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Keshet, a charity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. More than a dozen celebrities are scheduled to attend, including former Blackhawks player Jeremy Roenick, former Bulls player Bill Wennington, comedian Chris Williams, and several Chicago TV anchors.

Cost is $650 per golfer, or $2,600 per foursome. Dinner only is $150. All foursomes and individuals receive golf, caddies, lunch, dinner, cocktails, on-course beverages, a gift bag, valet parking with bag drop off, and access to the putting green, driving range and locker rooms.

For more details or to reserve a spot, see SpecialKidsNetwork.org. To date, the group has raised more than $1.4 million for charity.
