Homer would not be happy.

Since the start of June, Naperville police say vandals have been damaging the walls of businesses, electrical boxes and garbage containers in the city's downtown area and other locations -- and almost all of it has centered around the animated TV show "The Simpsons."

Police say the art work is extensive and in some cases must be time consuming to produce. They say it's also very costly to remove.

With that in mind, police are asking residents for help in identifying the vandals. Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (630) 420-6006. Callers may remain anonymous.
