Vandals cause damage at Brookdale School

Vandals damaged two signs and a new sculpture outside Naperville's Brookdale Elementary School at 1600 Redfield Road, authorities said Monday.

Indian Prairie Unit District 204 officials said the vandals, among other things, broke a statue depicting a young girl.

Police said the vandalism occurred between 11:30 a.m. June 12 and 5:30 p.m. June 13.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
