Body found in Yorkville home after 8 months

An autopsy is expected to take place on the remains of a 27-year-old Yorkville man whose badly decomposed body was discovered this week in his home — likely months after he died.

Police tell The (Aurora) Beacon-News that Justin Ludolph's body may have been in the home since at least October.

The remains were discovered Monday by a locksmith who was sent to the property because the home was entering foreclosure.

Authorities say they don't suspect foul play, but can't yet say how Ludolph died. An autopsy is scheduled to take place Wednesday. Packages near the man's front door had been piling up since the fall.

Yorkville is about 10 miles southwest of Aurora.
