Grace Shopping Cart Brigade Joined by OneChurch Partners and Public Library Helpers

A favorite precision marching unit in the 2013 Glen Ellyn 4th of July Parade is the Grace Luthern Church Shopping Cart Brigade. This year grocery cart marchers are joined by the OneChurch partners and helpers from the Glen Ellyn Public Library. Decorated grocery carts and high stepping will be featured in this popular walking float. The volunteer marchers will gather at Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Ave. in downtown Glen Ellyn and practice their precision moves in the parking lot. The parade audience are requested to bring non perishable grocery items to the parade and as the marchers go by, place their grocery contributions in the carts as they perform in front of the crowds. All donations will be given to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry located in Grace Church. Call 630-469-1555 for information.
