Night life events: Firkin hosts four-brewery tasting Saturday
Firkin's takeover
Four breweries — Half Acre Brewing Company, Tighthead Brewing Company, Revolution Brewing Company and Mickey Finn's — invade Firkin in Libertyville from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15. Offerings on tap include: Revolution/Three Floyds/Half Acre/Blue Jacket's — Fiscal Cliff; Revolution Galaxy I.P.A.; Half Acre Galactic Double Daisy Cutter; Half Acre Akari Shogun; Tighthead Irie I.P.A.; Tighthead Old Kaya Dog 2012; Mickey Finn's Der Kommisar Imperial Pils and Mickey Finn's U.S. Kölsch. Brew prices vary.

Celebrating dad
Wipe away all the years of stress you caused dad with a rockin' Father's Day at RA Sushi. Beer and steak
Dads and beer just kind of go together. Add in steak and it's the perfect day. From 11 a.m. to close Sunday at Wickets, pair a Denver steak with a brew such as Victoria, Blue Moon, Half Acre Daisy Cutter or Guinness for $20, not including tax and gratuity. Each steak is served with chimichurri sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes.
