Cook Park Library to host Friends book sale

The Friends of the Cook Memorial Public Library District hosts a summer book sale, June 21 to 23, at Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. A preview will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 21. The sale will be open to the public from: 2:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 21; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 22; and, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 23. The sale will include thousands of children’s and adult books in a variety of genres, as well as an assortment of DVDs and CDs. All proceeds from the sale will go toward the Friends of the Library, which supports book and media collections, programs and special projects at both Cook locations and on the Bookmobile.
