• Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Carpentersville woman they say hit a man in the forehead with a bottle May 19 while the pair was driving in the 100 block of Bolz Road, police said. Police were called to the address for a fight in progress and found a 31-year-old man in the car, who told police that Alma Resendiz, 21, of the 0-99 block of Oxford Drive, struck him while they were arguing, Cmdr. Todd Shaver said. Resendiz left the scene before police arrived, which is why a warrant is out for her arrest, Shaver said. The victim, meanwhile, was being treated at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Shaver said.
