My greatest concern is that the submission of two different pension plans by two (Madigan and Cullerton) senior members of our oligarchy, is meant to tie up the political process.
This act will successfully end the chance for pension reform with no resolution, as the time expires for the legislature to act, thus buying more time to keep the status quo -- hoping that people will lose their interest by the next session of the state legislature and business can continue as usual.
