The Holy Family Food Pantry is a program of Community Social Services, the outreach agency of Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan. It provides summer lunches and activity programs for children, and summer weekend backpack food programs.

The mission of the Holy Family Food Pantry is to "welcome and assist all of our brothers and sisters in Lake County who are unable to meet their daily living needs of food, clothing and shelter, while focusing on programs to help each of them to become self-sufficient and to live in society with dignity, independence and pride as productive members of the community."

The St. Patrick School student council is founded on providing service to their school, parish, and the community. In December, they led a successful coat drive and donated hundreds of coats, hats, scarves, gloves and boots to the Holy Family Food Pantry.

At Easter, they prepared Easter baskets for the residents of A Safe Place in Zion.

Twenty students in grades four through eight serve on the student council. Allison Belmont, a seventh-grader from Wadsworth, is serving as the president of the student council. The student council is under the direction of Cynthia Jennings.
