Daily Herald report

Mundelein residents came together for the 18th annual A-May-Zing Mundelein Day of Caring on Saturday, May 18. More than 100 volunteers completed 118 projects at 42 locations, including trimming bushes, pulling weeds and washing windows. They also picked up litter, mowed lawns and planted flowers. Nonresidential projects included clean up and litter pick up on Archer between Division and Hammond. The public works department and Mundelein Fire Department were instrumental in the completion of these projects, providing support to workers and completing gutter cleanings, home repairs, and home safety inspections.
