The Libertyville High School Student Council will host a blood drive on Wednesday, May 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the school's main gym. The student council, which is hosting event as a community service project, is working with LifeSource. For more information, call LifeSource at (877) 543-3768 or visit www.lifesource.org. Student council officials said they have expanded the hours of this year's blood drive in an effort to get the community more involved and broaden the donor base.
