Scouting the Fire: The Fire (2-4-1, 7 points) has won two of its last three games and hopes to keep some momentum going with another strong showing. The team is getting closer to full strength, but Arne Friedrich and Steven Kinney remain out with injuries, and right back Wells Thompson is suspended for this match.

Scouting the Montreal Impact:The Impact (4-1-1, 13 points) is off to an unexpectedly strong start under new coach Marco Schallibaum. Forward Marco DiVaio leads the team with 3 goals this season, and Patrice Bernier has 3 assists.
