Robert Plant, Robin Thicke join Taste lineup

Rock legend Robert Plant and other additions to the 2013 Taste of Chicago music lineup were announced Wednesday.

R&B star Robin Thicke and opening act Estelle are featured on Thursday, July 11, at the Petrillo Music Shell Concert Series in Grant Park. Plant performs on Friday, July 12, with southern country rock band The Lone Bellow. Eclectic R&B star Jill Scott takes the stage on Saturday, July 13, with reggae star Maxi Priest as her opening act.

Closing out Taste is alternative rock band Neon Trees with the Mowgli's on Sunday, July 14. All concerts start at 5:30 p.m.

Those performers join the previously announced fun., which kicks off the fest on Wednesday, July 10.

This is the second time that tickets will be sold at $25 for the pavilion seating area, while the surrounding lawn seating will remain free. Tickets are slated to go on sale beginning Wednesday, May 15, at tasteofchicago.us. For more information on the otherwise free-admission festival, call (312) 744-3316.
