Ÿ Jermel E. Lofton, 24, of the 400 block of Gainsborough Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 2:39 a.m. Sunday at Binder and Louckes streets near Aurora, according to a sheriff’s report. The deputy who pulled over Lofton for a missing headlight smelled a strong odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle, the report said.
Ÿ A resident on the 39W500 block of South Hyde Park near Geneva found a small plastic box attached to the bottom of the resident’s car and called deputies at 9 a.m. April 17, who later determined it was a GPS device and a possible stalking case, according to a sheriff report.
Ÿ A resident on the 44W100 block of Rohrsen Road near Hampshire reported on 8:28 p.m. Sunday that four unauthorized charges totaling $599 were made on a credit card, according to a sheriff report.
